GENERAL SURGERY
The Department of General Surgery in Rosemary provides
evaluation and treatment of the full range of complex general
surgery problems.

Surgical management of hepatobiliary and pancreatic
diseases, including gallbladder disease, cancer, portal
hypertension, appendicitis, diabetes, infections, peptic
ulcer disease, small intestine cancer, stomach cancer, and
cystic diseases.

Laparoscopic surgery, including cholecystectomy, hernia
repairs
EMERGENCY SURGERY
Each year Dept of General surgery admits an average of 2000
emergency surgery patients and performs more than 1000
procedures on these patients. Our surgeons manage non-traumatic
emergency surgery cases such as:

Abdominal catastrophes

Bleeding

Bowel obstruction of various causes

Perforation of abdominal viscera
